Cinthie

Berlin’s Cinthie is regarded as one of the cities most revered and respected figures. Running and curating many record labels, Cinthie is also a host on the cities popular Fritz Radio, owns the Berlin-based Elevate record store, and runs the ‘Stasi Studios’ complex, an institution which is a production home to figures like Ben Klock and Rødhåd. Cinthie is a prolific producer in her own right too, and she is synonymous with deep, bass-heavy cuts with roots in nostalgic 90s house sentimentality. Fresh from performing at Circoloco Ibiza, Berlin’s Tresor, and ://aboutblank, Cinthie will be highly welcome addition to the Mansion.

Denis Sulta

A Denis Sulta set can be like taking a rollercoaster at your local fair, exhilarating and frantic in equal doses. Hailing from Scotland’s dance music capital Glasgow, Sulta fine-tuned his craft working in the Rubadub record store, eventually landing himself a residency at the world-renowned Sub Club. This was followed by a record deal with Dixon Avenue Basement Jams, his debut Sulta Selects Vol 1 project, and his 2015 single ‘It’s Only Real’., all turning the heads of industry moguls Jackmaster, Optimo, and Four Tet. When you pair that with an AVA Boiler Room set which has now clocked over 1.6 million views, a DJ Award for Best Breakthrough Producer, as well as landing the #26 spot in Resident Advisor’s last ever Top 100 DJs poll, Denis Sulta’s is undoubtedly one of the world’s most sought-after acts.

HAAi

HAAi is a London based Sydney ex-pat who has the music industry in the palm of her hands. Known for her longstanding, but now defunct, weekly residency at London’s Phonox nightclub, HAAi spent 6 hours every Saturday night honing in on her sound which fuses psychedelic worldly beats with hard-hitting house, techno and breaks. Having played back to back sets with The Black Madonna, Midland, Daniel Avery, Mall Grab and Denis Sulta, HAAi proved herself to be an extremely talented and versatile selector, a point she proved when she was awarded the 2018 BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix of the Year. If she is not curating her Coconut Beats imprint, HAAi is stunning global crowds at festivals including Glastonbury and Nuits Sonores. Her presence at Let Them Eat Cake this Year will be a highly anticipated one.

Honey Dijon

There is no way that anyone is standing still when Honey Dijon takes to the stage. Her sound is rooted in jackin’ Chicago house and Detroit techno, a sound she adopted from the predominantly black and queer parties she inhabited in her formative years. You could also argue that her keen sense for dancefloor dynamics could’ve been taught to her via an early friendship and mentorship with house icon Derrick Carter, a relationship that unfurled in her a longstanding love affair with dance music. Having graced some of the world’s biggest stages from AVA Festival, Kappa Futur, Dour, DGTL, Primavera and Melt, Honey Dijon has earned a reputation as a raucous party starter. From soundtracking catwalks for Louis Vuitton fashion shows to guest slots at Berlin’s Berghain/Panorama Bar, no one quite lives and breathes the many iterations of house music’s influence as Honey Dijon.

Jon Hopkins

The music of Jon Hopkins sits at the intersection of electronic, ambient, and techno. This ability to not be pigeon-holed has seen the multi-skilled musician collaborate with a wide range of artist from Coldplay to Brian Eno. He even produced an original film score for the 2010 motion picture ‘Monsters’ which earned an Ivor Novello nomination for Best Original Film Score. His last studio album, 2018’s ‘Singularity’, was a critically acclaimed success and also nominated a Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic album. With many of his recent ‘Singularity’ world tour shows selling out, we cannot be more excited to have this living musical auteur back at Let Them Eat Cake for a highly exclusive DJ set.

Madam X

A key figure in Manchester’s underground rave scene, Madam X has become synonymous with the cities thriving club culture through her co-founded venue BPM aka. Big People Music and the London based Kaizen Klub. Landing a BBC 1Extra residency early on in her career, Madam X’s genre-bending mixes delve into grime, bass, dub and techno earning her slots at BBC R1 dance tent, Annie Mac’s Lost & Found, Dour Festival, as well as her own show on Rinse FM, and NTS. As the proud founder and curator of her record label Kaizen, her imprint reflects the sound that Madam X purveys: one that defies expectation in a refreshingly unique way, and is ultimately impossible to pin down to just one genre.

S.A.M.

Whether working under his Mandar, Rev – S or NWS aliases, S.A.M.’s fusion of psychedelic house and techno is unique and accessible in equal spades. As the founder and curator of Oscillat, Delaphine and Dahlia record labels, his labels house works from artists Ricardo Villalobos, Butch and Matthew Dekay alongside his own original productions. Earlier this year his track ‘Fury’s Laughter’ spent weeks on Beatport’s charts at number one, an infectious slice of summer tech-house that displaced Australian producer Fisher’s massive run at Beatport’s top. In recent times the Danish artist has become a bona fide international DJ, spending most of his days playing globally at venues like Rex, Fabric, Robert Johnson and Sankeys alongside festivals including Amsterdam Open Air Festival and Organik Festival.

Shigeto

The music of Zach Saginaw, who records as Shigeto, has always cross-wired a host of different musical influences. As a spearhead for the Ghostly International label, the Detroit based producer delves into jazz, hip-hop, funk and folk, carving out a unique place for himself as an electronic music artist who thrives on traditional genres, sometimes filtered through the lens of house music. With headline sets at a plethora of the world’s biggest stages from Sonar to Dour and every other milestone showcase for the highly respected Ghostly International imprint, Shigeto continues to be one of the electronic music scene’s most important flag bearers.

TOKiMONSTA

California native TOKiMONSTA started her career with a bang, releasing her debut album ‘Midnight Menu’ on Flying Lotus’ Brainfeeder imprint label, and cementing her place as a formidable musical presence. Gaining a considerable reputation as a producer first and foremost, her collaborations have seen her work with Jessie Ware, Anderson Paak and Kelly Rowland. Maintaining foundations in pop, TOKiMONSTAs sound fuses pop vocals with West Coast beats to provide a dreamy, synth-heavy fusion. With 5 studio albums, 12 EP’s and one Grammy nomination for Best Dance/Electronic Album, TOKiMONSTA also curates her own imprint label Young Art Records, the label which houses her own unique productions alongside the work of Manu Did and CRi. With headline sets at festivals Sonar, Coachella, EDC, Sundara and Electric Love Festival, TOKiMONSTA is a very welcome return to Let Them Eat Cake.

Tom Trago

A poster child for the Dutch electronic music underground, Tom Trago has been making waves on the highest level for over a decade. Landing his debut release on the infamous Rush Hour Recordings, he quickly became a cornerstone for the Dutch label releasing 3 studio albums for them. His 2010 track ‘Use Me Again (And Again)’ amassed over 1 million plays on YouTube alone and became one of the most recognisable house/nu-disco tracks of its time. When he is not running his imprint Voyage Direct, Tom Trago spends his year touring internationally, co-headlining events like Amsterdam Open Air, Melt, Dekmantel, DGTL and FLY Open Air. Not many can lay claim to fire up a dancefloor the way Tom Trago can. He will be unmissable at Let Them Eat Cake.
