Following a string of EPs on record labels Voyage Recordings, Echovolt Records, MCDE, and Clarity Recordings, the funk synthesist has garnered praise from Gilles Peterson, Jamie XX, Disclosure and The Black Madonna. Weaving between the old and the new, Harvey Sutherland and his band Bermuda have sold out shows across the world, performing at Glastonbury, Nuits Sonores, and London’s Jazz Cafe. Harvey’s upward career trajectory has seen him perform a disco suite alongside the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, as well as directing an 11-piece band in support of New York icon Leroy Burgess.
